update from Mrs H
Great news, Martha won the Western Speech finals and now goes onto the Northern/Western finals. We are all very proud of her.
Other class news is that we farewelled Tahi last Friday and tomorrow Tyrone will be leaving. We hope that they have a great time at their new homes and enjoy their schools.
Unfortunately Tahi arrived in Christchurch and has been involved with the earthquakes. She is okay. We had a BBQ today and will have a mufti-day tomorrow with the money raised going into the the Mayor’s Earthquake Relief Fund.
Finally, how are we going with our picks for the ITM cup and the Heartland series you might ask. Well… not that good actually after a very good start. However as we have been told, that the competition is not over until the fat lady sings so there is hope for us yet. Speaking of rugby, Jordan from our class got into the Southland U38kg team. Awesome stuff. Go the mighty Stags
